I have mentioned the research of the late Dr Weston A. Price in previous posts. His global research focused on native populations and tribal communities such as the Swiss, the Eskimos, Polynesians, Africans, New Zealanders, and more. He set out, on a mission, to determine exactly why these people, who ate a traditional wholefood diet (i.e. locally grown, seasonal, raw foods), exhibited perfect physical health well into old age. What was different about their diets, compared to the diets of today? This 6-minute video tells you why! It highlightes all his pioneering findings, and is definitely worth watching. It also links up the work of Dr Francis Pottenger... famed for his longitudinal "Pottenger cat study", one of the most simple, yet profound studies in nutrition.
Incidentally, Price's book, "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" is a classic work on the subject of nutrition. You can buy it on Amazon - take a look at my book recommendations! You might also want to check out The Weston A. Price Foundation, and The Price-Pottenger Foundation.
